The Last Stand is the SASS State of Florida Championship and is limited to 300 match day shooters. It is hosted by the Central Florida Rifle and Pistol Club, and organized by the members of The Last Stand Committee. We are proud to offer you four days of shooting, partying, and all-around cowboy fun.

The Last Stand is a “Lost Brass” match and all SASS rules apply. We do have Stage RO’s that will run the timers for all our competitors. In addition to SASS rules we also have a range rule that requires all lever action rifles to be shouldered before the action can be levered. Any round over the berm constitutes a Match DQ. Please note, if you are using ammunition that any of our Match Officials, Range Officers or your fellow competitors suspects to be illegal it will be tested according to SASS guidelines. You will need approximately 100 Pistol Rounds, 100 Rifle Rounds and 50 Shotgun Rounds. You may want to bring extra for side matches and any incidentals that may arise. Scoring will be by total time, not rank points. We look forward to seeing you and shooting with you at the Last Stand 2011. Please dress cowboy/girl for all events. We will have professional photographers at all events to preserve the memories of all your fun times at The Last Stand 2011.
